How ScoutGrid collects, uses, and protects the information of players, agents, and fans on the platform.
01Information we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email or phone number, and profile details you provide (position, region, physical stats, avatar, reels, and similar). We also collect content you post and messages you send within the app.
02How we use your information
We use your information to operate ScoutGrid's core features: your public profile, the reels feed, scouting/shortlisting tools, chat, and notifications. We also use it to enforce our Terms of Use, including reviewing reports of abusive content or users.
03Sharing
Your public profile and posted reels are visible to other ScoutGrid users by design. We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers (such as Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting, authentication, and storage) only as needed to run the app.
04Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time. You can block other users, which hides their content from your feed instantly and prevents them from contacting you. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete account — this removes your profile, reels, messages, and other data we hold about you.
05Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts and their associated data are permanently removed from our systems.
06Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including Firebase Authentication and Firestore's access controls, to protect your data.
07Children's privacy
ScoutGrid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
